Welcome to the Blue Sheet - our weekly announcements for Marching Band!!
BOOSTER MEETING TONIGHT AT 7:30 - THANKS FOR ATTENDING OUR LAST MEETING OF 2017 - LOTS OF GOOD INFORMATION AND OPPORTUNITIES.
This week is a light week for the marching band in terms of performance. We are the homecoming guests of Northview HS, therefore we will be traveling as a "stands band." Students can wear jeans and show shirts (blue snapshots) as we will only perform in the stands during all 4 quarters. WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE 2-3 PARENTS WITH LARGE TRUCKS/SUV DRIVE OUR DRUMLINE AND SOUSAPHONES TO THE GAME. This will save us time and resources by leaving our semi-trailer here for the weekend and make it much easier to unload and get home after the game.

FRIDAY NIGHT TIMELINE (October 13)
3:45 - Move to Stadium for Runthrough of Contest Show
5:30 - Dinner (dismissed from Stadium)
6:15 - Load Buses/Trucks
6:30 - Depart for Northview
7:30 - Kickoff
10:45 - Approximate Return to Cambridge
LOOKING AHEAD
Next Saturday's schedule will be very similar to our last contest. We will begin with a stadium rehearsal a bit earlier in the morning - 9:30 AM. We will feed the students lunch at 12:30 in the cafeteria after loading the truck at noon by the stadium. Our plans will be to depart for St. Pius at 1:30 in the afternoon to allow plenty of arrival and setup time.
HOMECOMING UPDATE
Our Homecoming plan for the conflict of the October 21 contest will be as follows. We are tentatively scheduled to perform at 5:55 PM. Once our performance is concluded and truck is loaded, students will be able to meet parents at the St. Pius X school drop-off turnaround. Students may arrange rides with other parents for this occasion - we must have written permission from each student's parent to be released from our supervision and leave the contest for the purpose of attending the homecoming dance. This should all be possible between the hours of 6:45 and 7:15.
