Welcome to the Blue Sheet - our weekly announcements for Marching Band!!

This week we travel to St. Pius X for our second competition of the season. We will be using our props for the first time this year and it will take some early prep work loading here at the school at noon and unloading and assembling at St. Pius. . . if you are able to help us with this it would be amazing!! The students move the props on and off the field - we just need the assistance with tear-down and assembly. Thanks for giving of some of your valuable time!!

FRIDAY NIGHT TIMELINE (October 20)
3:45 - Change and Report to Sections
4:15 - Meet in Band Room for dismissal to dinner (altered due to senior night)
Juniors serving seniors dismissed to dinner
4:30 - 9/10 to dinner
4:40 - Seniors to dinner
5:45 - Change to half-uniform
6:05 - Meet in Courtyard
6:25 - March to Stadium
6:40 - Senior Night Introductions with Parents
(underclassmen in stands to support seniors)
7:30 - Kickoff
:* - We will do a post-game performance as halftime is dedicated to homecoming

SATURDAY TIMELINE
9:30 - Report to Stadium for Ensemble
12:00 - Load Truck at Stadium (we will load uniforms onto the truck)
EQUIPMENT HELP NEEDED
12:30 - Lunch in Cafeteria
1:30 - Load Buses/Prepare to Depart for St. Pius X
2:35 - Arrive St. Pius - Change/EQUIPMENT HELP NEEDED
4:55 - Warmup Begins
5:55 - PERFORMANCE
6:15 - Prop Breakdown/Load Truck
6:45 - Homecoming dismissals . . . see below
All others return to stadium for final bands and dinner on your own at concessions

HOMECOMING UPDATE
Our Homecoming plan for the conflict of the October 21 contest will be as follows. We are tentatively scheduled to perform at 5:55 PM. Once our performance is concluded and truck is loaded, students will be able to meet parents at the St. Pius X school drop-off turnaround. Students may arrange rides with other parents for this occasion - we must have written permission from each student's parent to be released from our supervision and leave the contest for the purpose of attending the homecoming dance. This should all be possible between the hours of 6:45 and 7:15. NOTIFICATIONS OF STUDENT DISMISSAL MUST BE RECEIVED FRIDAY - ANY NOTIFICATION GIVEN SATURDAY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
