WORTH REPEATING Please continue to make hydration, nutrition, and rest a priority. The temperatures continue to be intense during our afternoon practices. We will take every precaution as dictated and make the health and safety of students a priority – but we also live in Georgia – it’s hot – all fall – so take care of yourself as well!!

Please note the schedule for Fulton County Exhibition – percussion and guard may report a bit earlier that day and all of our competition days are really full day events – they appear that way on the band calendar. Please also note the early rehearsal dismissal the week of FCE due to the Premiere Concert for the music department. We will feed the Wind Symphony (and chorus/orchestra guard members) after practice so they have time to change and warmup for a concert that evening!

One final request/thank you for Fulton County Exhibition – we have become the annual host of this event due to our quality of facilities and our cordial and efficient job of hosting the event. This only happens with ALL HANDS ON DECK. Thank you so much to those that have already taken leadership roles and volunteered time to make this day a success – and if you haven’t gotten around to that yet – please visit our volunteer signup page and see what you can do to help the band that day!! As always, please continue to keep us updated on conflicts and questions with the calendar. The band members had an amazing weekend (both the game, and the practice day on Saturday!!). We are all very excited to show you more of “Lunacy” – and welcome a record number of 8th grade band members on Friday Night!!
